Psychic Attack and physical suffering

Dear site visitors:

I am sharing the following letter because it provides an opportunity to address an important issue: the issue of psychic "trespassing" or mental invasion by others. I have made some edits for the sake of brevity and clarity as this person's native language is not English. But the ordeal of psychic suffering as described can only be dismissed as “imaginary” or “nothing” by those who have not endured such an experience.

It is not enough to simply say people with this kind of sensitivity are crazy because perhaps you personally have not been attacked in this way.  Trespassing takes many shapes.  Some people attack with guns, some attack with words, some attack with thought or their overbearing personality.  A trespass into someone else's physical, emotional, mental, or psychic space is still a trespass.  The pain may differ in sensation--just as a broken heart does not hurt the same way a broken leg hurts.  But they both hurt!  And in this sense, my answer is relevant not just to the healing of psychic pain, but to healing every form of disease.

The wondrous fact is that Spirit-as-Love is not impressed by the names we give evil--such as "physical," "emotional," or "psychic."   Spiritual power doesn't have to kick into a higher gear for what we might call big evil or scary evil.  Neither does Spirit ignore our so-called little fears as "less consequential."   As I try to share in my answer to this dear seeker,  God comes in one size only--ALL.  And divine Love--by nature of its allness--does not simply overpower evil.  It excludes the very (presumptuous) existence of evil, itself.

NOTE:  My answer is longer than usual because this letter raises so many points worthy of addressing.  It can actually be studied as a text if you too are seeking specific physical or emotional healing.
Dear Susan Dane,

I  hope your kind and able -self can understand my explanations about the myth of negativities like black magic.... I am humbly speaking the truth and nothing else for my bodily afflictions as a result of psychic spiritual harm emanated from an outside source... Practitioners of this evil things are very much abound in this regions that I dwell.  They dabble in these arts at very mean prices...It does'nt mean 100% of the persons living here resort to them nor they become victims of such attacks... I was destined to have opened my psychic space in the past only after believing them when I  was really strickened down with waves of such psychic attacks since 20 yrs ago.  My suffering included invisible needles/nails poking my left big toe then entering through my soles, gradually all bodily parts like extremities and trunk, jolts of the body or jerks of parts.....[Ed. note...and other physical maladies]

I am a devout Godbeliever in the Hindu Religion and now I am an Eckist too.  I sought answers to my malady through the varied prayers and other efforts to date with little avail I can say.  Sorcerers have removed a lot of evil stuff...One Trance-master read one of my past life as a Black magician living in Kerala , India.  Through my Mahanta's help I saw that I too was once a fierce clan/gang leader in Ancient China, mercilessly killing opponents with Kung-Fu.  This I did see myself  through the Akashic Records vision.... I did  request him to forgive me of my past sins, surrendering to him.  I went on several pilgrimages to India & Tibet, sought several sadhus, Mahans for blessings and yet..! That's how it all evolved to be to me.

Now that I seek your kind & able - self's assistances in any way that you can in an absolutely voluntary-charitable free mode with a big magnanimous heart, I  permit you to do it!

My thoughts now are and shall be about Peace, Sound, Love, Light, Compassion, Understanding, Pure Spiritual Happiness, Peace & Harmony as I 've always been too.  I still seek the Higher spiritual beings & Spiritual Guides.  I'll ask all of the Universe 's loving & merciful souls to help clear my body, mind & Spirit.  I'll definitely not be fooled by any Pagan/Wiccan/Vodoo believer, practitioner again.  Thanking you immensely !!   By the Light and Sound of the Love and Mercy!!!

From Susan:

Dear K___

I presume you found my site and felt something in your heart resonate with my teaching.  I am somewhat familiar with the workings of Black magic and the experience of psychic suffering.  I send you all my condolences, sympathy and spiritual love.

In this world of many Gods and many powers, there are many versions of evil.  When someone is sensitive and has "opened themselves" as you say to these various forces, one can experience a wide variety of pains and ills.

But the cure for "many" always remains the same---"ONE"

The cure for many Gods is one God.  The cure for many spirits is one Spirit.  The cure for many evils is one Good.  The cure for many powers is to acknowledge only one power every minute of your day and night--not just in your thinking, but in the very core of your being and belief.  The cure for darkness is to become conscious.  And how amazing to know that what we are becoming conscious of is a loving, protective and preservative power that we commonly refer to as God.

Becoming conscious can seem like work at first.  Fear, grief and pain operate in waves.  Suddenly something sweeps over us and we lose our ground.   We are all learning to stand against the tides of human beliefs.

But Spirit never loses its ground.  And Spirit gives us the authority to rise up against every evil --regardless of its particular shape.  In Truth there is only one God, only one Power.  Because this power is Love--protective, preservative, and  present--you can become fully conscious of Love's protection.  This argument is not the "little self" asserting itself against other little selves.   Rather, this argument is the self surrendering its dogma and fears to the facts of divine Truth.  The teaching of many selves, separated from God and arrayed against Him and each other, is a dogma, not a fact.

The irony is we argue against our own best interests.  And often we are not even aware we are doing so.  You look at your life and you see your long history-- you see your symptoms, you feel the pain, you remember your long search for Truth, freedom and a cure, and everything in you insists that evil has power and that you are a victim.  Your study into past lifetimes has convinced you that perhaps you deserve to suffer, after all the things you did to others.  But of course this only gives a "karmic credential" to your suffering.

Even as we ask God to bring us good, we are busy arguing against it.  Here is the trick:

The mind prefers pleasure to pain, but it prefers its own belief systems to self surrender.

Therefore the mind argues to protect those belief systems.  Your senses and memory ratify the mind's conviction.  "I am too hurt," it says. Or  "This pain is real.  Ouch!!!"   Or, "I've been suffering for ever.  I've tried everything.  Don't tell me it's not real and powerful and crippling!"

You must start with hope--your hope that such a good God could exist.

Little by little your hope that this could be true, will give way to small inklings that it is true, and your love of freedom will prevail.   Your desire to know this one supreme power must first win your own heart and the core of your conviction.  Against this "One"--a single person wedded to the divine--outside evil influences back down.  Therefore, the battle is first and foremost with ourselves.

But when we take up the battle against our own conviction, we inevitably come face-to-face with the "YES-BUT" mind.

"Yes-But" is the voice of our first enemy.
"Yes-But" is always the argument of self, ego, darkness.
"Yes-But" is what reduces spiritual power and presence to religious philosophy

--  YES, we believe in a good God.  BUT look at my long history ....
--  YES, we believe in the power of Spirit to heal and protect BUT look at my suffering...
--  YES, we know that in truth (or heaven) there is only one Being expressing itself purely
and truly...BUT look at the evidence...

And our list goes on.

When you begin to turn away from battling outside forces and begin to stand up to the "YES-BUT-mind" the tide will begin to turn in favor of freedom.

This is not to say that you have simply imagined these evil powers.  It is simply to say that your sure defense against the world belief of "many" is to divorce yourself first from your own conviction in the power of evil.

We either believe in one supreme governing power, or God,  or we believe in many little powers, many little gods.  The "YES-BUT" mind tries to create a gray middle ground, where we can believe in both.  But there is no middle ground.  Spirit is a yay-nay proposition.

Psychic terrorism is well...terrifying...to say the least.   But it is only one aspect of the oppression that the limited, dark, human consciousness believes in.   If  we believe that we are separated from the One and only God, Spirit, we will face many versions of incarnate evil--some more incarnated than others!  But I promise you that the one Light which is Love is the reality of Being.   Against this one wholly good power (which is Love--and self-preservative) all other supposed powers cower.

In Spirit, Truth, man is not a channel.  Karma is a human belief which attempts to explain circumstances and phenomena that exist within our misinformed perspective, but which is from God's perspective never even were.

Whatever lies outside God's allness and Love is always a presumption.  What seems to be a very real, live, suffering mortal person is not an ego on a long, karmic path--as we have been taught--but is instead a misinformed perspective of reality.  What  we call "I am"--as something separate from God--is misinformation.  The unenlightened ego is not a persona, it is a perspective.

In other words, that which says "I am"--and then adds all the adjectives of hurt, fear, victimization, suffering, striving, seeking truth to no avail, etc.--this "I am" is not a real person with a long, tragic, sincere but victimized history.  This "I am" is a misinformed point of orientation, engaged upon the moment.  This is why instantaneous healing is possible.  Because through radical and absolute surrender to the one Spirit, God--upon the moment--the supposed momentum of the human ego and its many belief-systems comes to a screeching halt.  And in its place harmony obtains.

And finally, do not fear the night.  There is no place where God's power cannot reach.  Whether it be the dark corners of the day, the dark corners of our fear, or the dark corners of some other evil entity's intention.  To the Light which is Love, all is light.   Light, Love does not measure darkness and is never impressed by how "big" it seems.  To Love, no version of evil is harder to eradicate than any other.

Genuine spirituality has no system. But by the all encompassing and all-inclusive nature of Spirit itself, the principle of One Spirit prohibits even the possibility of any other power. In this way, genuine spirituality is practical and not theoretical or abstract. However, Spirit is practical not because it is applicable, but because it is actual. Applicable suggests a separate existence that we need to apply Spirit to. But actual means Spirit as All-in-all, always present and always operative.

Remember this: Spirit is everywhere. Therefore it exists just as much in what we call “hell” as it does in what we call “heaven” and “earth.” Because Spirit knows no fear, it doesn’t make the distinctions between darkness, shadow and light. But it does eliminates the hidden and the dark by its love. Spirit’s nature is undivided. Therefore, it precludes the existence of any person, power or effect outside itself.

I hope these words offer some comfort, hope and reassurance.  Take baby steps at first.  The light will come.

With love and concern,
Susan
