Life is suffering. Death is inescapable. God comes through, but only sometimes. Although we keep striving, full freedom is always just around the bend. God is love, so he gave us free will, but then lets us suffer for our poor choices. Yes, there is “spiritual reality,” but it is available only to a more enlightened consciousness….and I don’t seem to have it!

Topics include:

• Does God make us capable of choosing poorly and then let us suffer from so doing?
• If not, who suffers and why?
• How to not be “the dream” or “the dreamer dreaming”
• How to get through our day without this insistent image of “two realities”
• How this inspired vision redefines our career.

For those of you who attended the last seminar, you will remember what an ideal location we have as it is right on the beach, with a lovely pool facility. There is also a wonderful botanical garden just next door, which deserves a long stroll through too.

Bring a swim suit and we will do our best to make sure we have afternoons available for some "down-time" and reflection.

The seminar will continue to build on past work done individually and as a group--with special emphasis on two chapters from my book : When All Systems Fail.

Those chapters are "Getting off the Time-Line" and "The Infinite Mercy of Now."

We're going to talk more about:

1) In what way life has neither beginning nor ending.

2) If life doesn't end, what is this deal called "aging?"

3) How to disengage the two "momentums of the mind"--namely hauling up memory and "connecting" or "associating" everything and construction projection--which usually includes either fear or romantic idealism! This disengagement is "the work."

4) How when we are not engaged in these busy industries of the mind, we become "consciously aware." We actually experience life off the time-line, and see far more than we ever imagined when we were.....imagining all the time!

5) How, when we are not engaged in this imaginary field (memory and projection) existence is undergone through a completely different faculty. We look, act, and see differently. We drop the delusions of ourselves as agents of life and "happening" and become alive to how Life lives itself.

I will send more details soon, but am getting this out quickly as apparently both Southwest Airlines and Delta (along with quite a few others) are having big sales right now--and some of them are one-day sales.

First choice for Airports is Ft. Lauderdale. 2nd is West Palm Beach.
