Let's face it: Sexuality is one of the dearest subjects to our hearts!  And whether or not we like it, relationships go with it.  They certainly occupy a lot of our time and energy--both as individuals and as a society.  And often we have conflicts reconciling our sexuality with our spirituality.  The following three seminars are dedicated to gaining a more inspired and practical view.

SPIRITUALITY AND SEXUALITY - [ RS-1 ]

This seminar goes beyond the easy definitions of sex as either original sin or "Great fun, let's do it!" or "It's beautiful so long as you're married."

It also helps us go beyond the popular definitions of homosexuality as either moral travesty or biological destiny.  The goal of this seminar is to help us come to peace regarding our sexuality and its vital role in our lives.  It will also help turn our focus from sexual orientation toward "spiritual orientation."   Whether we are gay, straight, bi or tri, spiritual orientation is the most radical of alternate life styles.

This seminar offers a new ground for both liberation and enlightenment:

• What does it mean, "We each have masculine and feminine qualities"?

• Looking for the right person "somewhere out there."  Is it spiritual destiny or spiritual detour?

• Getting free of past attachments.

• Breaking the cycle of "meaningful relationships."

• Finding a love affair in the midst of marriage.

• Finding the marriage in the midst of our aloneness.

When we think of love, we almost always think in terms of  "two" (or more.)  Likewise, when we think of fighting, we think of "two"--ourselves and someone or something else.  But in genuine spirituality we discover that there is only ONE--one true authentic love, and one true authentic fight--and these are both with ourselves. This seminar shows how our first and fundamental relationship is with ourselves, and that every other relationship springs from this primary relationship--even our relationship to God-as-self.

We will explore:

• How many kinds of love are there?

• Does love come in numbers--Is it true that the more people loving the more love exists?

• What is this "true authentic fight?"

• What does real self-love look like?

This seminar focuses on the practical problem we all face:  the problems of partnering, and the problems of parenting or being parented.

Topics include:

• Partnering  
  How to stop hurting (and being hurt by) the ones we love.  
  Breaking patterns in romantic relationships.  
  How to stop seeking in the other what we have to find in ourselves.  
  

• Parenting  
  Undoing our parents' parenting.  
  How to stop living out the family patterns.  
  How to help kids understand sex, love and spirituality without giving them formulas.  
  

• "Sibling"  
  Sibling rivalry--Where it comes from and how to dissolve it.  
  Sibling harmonies--How to blend harmonies while singing your own tune.       
  How an only child can find his or her siblings.  
  

• "Family reunion" --a spiritual definition  
  How does Spirit express itself as both "one" and "all."  
  Why "I Am" is wholly complete.  
  How Spirit--free from systems-- dissolves all divisions.
